I try to take the view of what I want a company doing with my info. I'd want to be updated with new products and services, I'd want to receive their newsletter if it provided good content, and I'd want to be able to unsubscribe easily at any time. Done. I wouldn't want to be inundated with spam and junk mail for stuff I never signed up for. Done.
